You click on the link, and you directed to <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@WildDetectives\" >The Wild Detectives&#8217; profile at Medium<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The headline is followed by a short introduction that explains the trick:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4>You fell for the bait, now fall for the book. Read <em>Frankenstein<\/em> by Mary Shelley below.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What you see below &#8211; and what you can start reading immediately &#8211; is the text of the book. It was prepared in cooperation with the Dallas-based multicultural marketing agency <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/dieste.com\/\" >Dieste<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.adweek.com\/creativity\/this-bookstores-clickbait-headlines-on-facebook-are-actually-the-plots-of-classic-novels\/\" >Adweek reports<\/a> that Litbaits yielded a 14,000% boost in traffic to The Wild Detectives profile on Medium.
